Gateway Classic Cars of Charlotte is proud to digitally present
this 1992 Chevrolet K2500 4X4.The fourth generation of the C/K
series is a range of trucks manufactured by General Motors.
Marketed by the Chevrolet and GMC brands from 1988 to the 2002
model years, this generation is the final version of the C/K model
line. The C/K nomenclature itself became exclusive to Chevrolet.
Introduced in early 1987 for the 1988 model year, the
fourth-generation C/K was initially produced as full-size pickup
trucks and chassis cabs, later expanding to full-size SUVs. The
model line would overlap production with both its predecessor and
its successor. As with its predecessor, the fourth-generation C/K
shared body commonality with GM medium-duty commercial trucks. This
is one clean truck. Equipped with a cloth bench seat, AC, power
windows, and power door locks, it was pretty "loaded" for its time.
A throttle body fuel injected 5.7 liter V8 sits under the hood and
links to a four-speed automatic transmission. Although these
features add comfort, don't be fooled. These trucks were meant to
work. The 8 ft bed will accommodate full sheets of plywood and
allow the tailgate to close. You will appreciate that since you can
haul much heavier loads than a half-ton pick-up. Four-wheel drive
keeps you from getting stuck on the job site and home on time for
dinner. If you are looking for a capable truck that's still hungry
to work hard, give us a call today.
