Mercedes Benz....If you want Ultimate exclusivity you try and find
a last year R129 with the Silver Arrow package. However with only
1,550 units produced, good luck. Furthermore, finding one in this
kind of condition with the low mileage is damn near impossible.
Everyone knows the SL models by Mercedes as they have been some of
the classiest cars ever produced, typically reserved for the
wealthy. The Silver Arrow package was offered for an additional
$2,500 putting the MSRP real close to the $90,000 mark over twenty
years ago. For the additional $2500 you would get "Ultra"-Metallic
Silver Arrow paint, Black birdseye maple wood, illuminated door
sills, Xenon Lights, Heated seats, 6-disc changer, exclusive BBS
high polish wheel and polished aluminum interior and exterior trim.
And let me tell you, the paint and wheels really stand out in
person. This car has been mostly southern owned and only driven in
superior weather. Has been dealer serviced, has a clean carfax,
both tops in good condition with the exception of a sagging
headliner on the hard top. The car starts, runs and drives
beautifully, has both factory keys and owners manuals. The
underside, engine and interior are excellent. This car is collector
quality and is 100% ready to go.
