This trick truck is the literal embodiment of American Muscle. Upgrades like custom upholstery and a smooth automatic transmission make it perfect for unforgettable driving experiences, while handsome lines, an exceptional stance and miles of rich two-stage are sure to create curb appeal. Looking for a 'just right' classic that's road ready, show-ready and just plain battle-ready? Here it is!

SLICK AS OBSIDIAN

The product of a detailed, professional restoration that was completed by the pros at Greenville, South Carolina's Creative Rods and Restoration, this super cool Chevy is clean, mean and ready to roll! Naturally, the build was a frame-off affair that included top notch metal work. And that enticing Honda Obsidian Blue Pearl you're busy admiring was carefully coordinated with a roster of tasteful details. The truck's slick Glasurit two-stage kicks off with a color-keyed bumper, which guards a polished and "C H E V R O L E T" branded grille that's finished with traditional halogen headlights. A domed hood pushes stainless-trimmed marker lamps opposite a crisp greenhouse, which rolls traditional, two-piece side glass behind a polished mirror and polished wipers. At the sides of that glass, a smooth profile hangs trick billet door handles behind custom, LS1-themed fender emblems. And at the back of the truck, a glossy wood bed hides a billet fuel filler behind a stamped gate, polished LED taillights and a second color-keyed bumper.

LS1 + LS3 = LS FAST

Take a peek under this classic's unique hood and you'll find 5.7 liters of stout small block that's been fully rebuilt, thoughtfully modded and lovingly polished by Greenville, South Carolina's Creative Rods and Restoration. Straight from the factory, GM's celebrated LS1 combines a sturdy aluminum block with lightweight aluminum heads, coil-near-plug ignition and aluminum flat top pistons to create razor sharp throttle response and lightning quick acceleration. And, in addition to all that factory-engineered swagger, this C10's glowing LS1 features a hot LS3 cam that ups the ante to roughly 400 horsepower! At the front of the mill, a fresh AIRAID filter cone funnels breeze through a short tube, which feeds a factory throttle body that's cinched to an Obsidian Blue Pearl intake. A polished serpentine drive spins a polished alternator opposite a coated AC compressor. High octane fossils are juiced by GM electronic fuel injection and sparked by sleeved plug wires. Spent gases traverse a slick pair of ceramic-coated tubes. Cooling comes courtesy of a painted DeWitts radiator that's complete with spry SPAL puller fans. And this Chevy's Obsidian Blue Pearl engine bay is detailed with niceties like custom fuel rail covers, billet hood supports and a quality Wilwood master cylinder.

LOW AND READY TO GO

Not surprisingly, the bottom of this first class C10 is fully sorted and ready to roll, all the way from the truck's undercoated floors to its 20-gallon fuel tank. Behind the LS1 you'll find a predictable 4L60E 4-speed that was fully rebuilt by, you guessed it, the folks at Creative Rods and Restoration. That gearbox powers a tough 12-bolt axle that's finished with a posi-traction differential and 3.73 gears. Everything rolls low and mean on a familiar, factory-style suspension that's been thoughtfully upgraded with beefy sway bars and Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks. Lucid power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Quick stops come courtesy of power-assisted discs and power-assisted drums. The aforementioned headers feed large-diameter pipes, which route roars through an X-shape crossover and polished MagnaFlow mufflers. And power meets the pavement through chrome Ridler 650s, which spin 255/55R18 Nitto NT420S.

CUSTOMIZED COMFORT

Enact this Chevy's retrofitted bear claw door latches and you'll reveal a tastefully customized cockpit that's classy in all the right ways. Attractive, French-stitched upholstery dresses quality TMI buckets at the sides of a tidy armrest. A handsome dash hangs serious Omega Kustom telemetry next to controls for Vintage Air conditioning and modern, direct-fit audio that bumps big kick speakers. Premium carpet, protected by Chevrolet-themed mats, anchors modern lap belts on a carefully curated combination of HushMat and Dynaliner. Billet foot pedals lead a dressed Lokar shifter. Customized door panels front trick power windows. And the driver spins a 14-inch, bowtie-branded steering wheel around a tilting Flaming River column.
