Vehicle Description
As a business, Dodge started out as a parts supplier to Ford and
other automobile manufacturers. Soon the pistol-packing John and
Horace Dodge leveraged their reputation of supplying high-quality,
reliable products into a full manufacturing concern, producing
their first automobile in 1914. In 1929, a year after being bought
by Chrysler, Dodge introduced its first half-ton pickup truck.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this 1939 Plymouth
Pickup for your consideration. This low production pickup still
sits on its original chassis and is powered by a 360ci V8 that came
out of a Dodge Diplomat. The truck runs and drives very well for
its age and the owner recently had new rear wheel cylinders
installed.
