This powerful and plush big-block powered 1962 Chevrolet Corvette
Restomod is now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom.
It's a well-engineered build combining performance, handling, and
plush appointments. A 572 cubic inch Chevrolet Performance big
block generating upwards of 620 horsepower works with a modified
200-4R automatic transmission and a 4.11 Positraction rear to
produce neck-snapping acceleration with outstanding drivability. A
Holley 850 carburetor with electric choke sends the fuel through a
polished Edelbrock intake to aluminum GM Performance heads.
Polished headers feed an Ernie Miyamoto stainless exhaust system
with Borla mufflers. Trick exhaust cutouts work with a lever under
the seat to let the big block sing at full song. The transmission
is appropriately tuned as well.. There are just 6790 miles on the
build. Modern handling comes courtesy of a C4 suspension and brakes
with drilled rotors and carbon fiber-pattern calipers, plus the
chrome split 5 spoke aluminum wheels, while 245/45ZR17 Goodyear
Eagle F1 performance tires provide the grip. The body is cloaked in
a smooth burgundy metallic as is the hardtop. The C4 door handles
offer a subtle hint to what's underneath. The interior is a true
highlight with soft, supple white leather seats and matching
carpeting. And the trunk is just as plush. The dash contains all
digital instrumentation in the stock dash pods. In addition to
essentials like a tach and oil pressure gauge, there are
performance pages for such data as top speed, quarter mile time
etc. You can also relax with air conditioning by Vintage Air and a
Pioneer AM/FM/CD sound system. Power rack & pinion steering and
power windows complete the package. The '62 is a revered body style
with its quad headlights up front and rear styling that
foreshadowed the upcoming StingRay. So the builders lavished the
car with all the latest and best of the custom world while
respecting its heritage and classic good looks. 6800 miles on the
build is enough to ensure that all systems are go, but few enough
to maintain the car's like-new aroma, look, and feel. And the
