1965 Chevrolet Corvette. This is a 2 owner 1965 Corvette Coupe.
Previous owner owned it since 1989 and has known the car since
1967. 87256 actual miles on it. It still has it's original L76 365
hp 327 cu. in. engine, The original M21 4 speed, and 4.11
positraction rear end. The numbers on these components match the
numbers on the Precto-O-Plate in the warranty booklet. It has the
convenience option, so it has back up lights and day/night mirror.
It has a tinted windshield, a locking gas cap and leather seats. It
has always been garage kept. The car was brought to its present
condition in 2006, and various things were done since. Besides the
paint and interior work, the following items have been
restored/rebuilt/refurbished/etc.; original bumpers rechromed
headlight bucket bearings M21 transmission rebuilt posi unit
rebuilt rear control arms and spindles and parking brakes rebuilt
entire dashboard distributor including recurving carburetor rebuilt
right manifold planed, choke tube replaced seat belt buckles all
interior trim The following items have been replaced; Brushed
aluminum on the console Keys (nos blanks cut from the codes) shock
absorbers all (Delco) lower ball joints (AC Delco professional
grade) radiator (Dewitt's) all hoses (reproduction and all clamps
correct type) water pump idler pulley bearing fan belts (canvas
wrapped debossed reproductions) fuel pump (AC 40083) fuel filter
timing chain (cloyes double roller) clutch, clutch fork, fork boot,
t/o bearing, dust shield. clutch rod firewall seal valve seals and
rocker arms distributor shaft and tach gear coil (nos 202 unit)
plug wires (Delco) rt side vertical plug wire shield (nos) drive
shaft yoke, and ujoints transmission mount posi clutches, carrier
and stub shaft bearings and seals differential front bracket
bushing differential mounting crossmember bushings rear strut rods
rear spring hangers and bushings half shaft ujoints spindle yokes,
bearings, seals, and french locks rear parking brake cable rebuild
calipers rear disc pads (nors asbestos) exhaust pipe heat shields
transmission tunnel heat shield mufflers, (now N11 3 baffle)
tailpipes (larger 68-69 units) spare tire lock and boot (keyed to
glove box) scissors jack (correct reproduction) fan and clutch
changed to 7 blade to improve cooling tires (215-70-15 Mickey
Thompson street tires that work well on dry pavement, but not in
the rain) tail and reverse light assemblies stainless tag surrounds
(2) all emblems (nos) door sills rocker panels mirror w/dated glass
window channels hubcaps hood hinges and rear gasket windshield
wipers (nos) all weathersrtip left door panel carpet rear window
inside trim shift boot rear view mirror (nos) horn button heater
core radio and heater knob trim dome light housing The following
are original items; all 4 T3 headlight bulbs headlight motors horns
voltage regulator carburetor distributor (uses band instead of
stamping, so can't be certain) alternator starter shifter heater
fan motor all gauges All of the wiring is original. The radio works
and it is original. The car even has the radio anti static brass
coils inside the dust caps on the front spindles. the spare tire is
from the 60s, pre DOT, and it still holds air. Even the oil pan
drain plug is correct. It has a circle with a capital A inside. The
intake has never been off. NOTE: The clock does not work, and the
heat riser is wired open to keep it from rattling. The following
items will be included with the car; The original hood that was
fitted to the car, painted top and bottom, cut and buffed, and put
in a box. The front license plate bracket and the stainless
surround The non locking gas cap a 236 vacuum advance extra keys
(an original ignition key with the code part never knocked out, and
others) an extra heat riser a 1963 Corvette factory manual and a
1965 Corvette supplement manual, along with an assembly manual,
that came from the original owner the original owner's manual the
original warranty booklet with Protect-o-Plate window sticker
(which shows a 3.36 rear, which does not match the p-o-p, which
matches the rear in the car) fire extinguisher This car runs smooth
and strong. It is a joy to drive. While we do our best to provide
the highest quality muscle cars with an honest and reliable
description and realize the importance of transparency when selling
vehicles. That being said, we have not built, modified, changed or
personally owned this vehicle. Whether this vehicle is consigned or
owned by Past & Present Motor Cars we do not know the vehicles
complete history since new. We want to be clear and try to answer
