Modifications are limited to Black Rock steel wheels with 30-inch
all-terrain tires and a performance ignition coil. Ford introduced
the Bronco II for the 1984 model year as a Ranger-based competitor
against Chevrolet's S-10 Blazer. The mini-Bronco was offered with
two different V6 engines over the course of its production run, and
several trim levels were offered, including a range-topping Eddie
Bauer edition. The Bronco II was replaced in 1991 by the Explorer.
Power comes from a Cologne 2.8-liter V6, rated at 115 horsepower
and 150 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four
wheels via a 5-speed (4+overdrive) manual transmission. Power
