Vehicle Description
As time goes on we are going to start really seeking out nice
examples of the 2009 Ford Mustang GT Bullitt edition. Ford had
pulled out all the stops to debut the coupe for the film's 40th
anniversary in 2008, and it was such a cool car that demand spilled
a little into 2009 to create something tantalizingly rare. That
means you're looking at a legendary car with rumbling V8 power, a
five-speed, and serious collectability... all for an affordable
price.
What kind of rarity are we talking about? Only 816 Bullitt cars
were made in 2009, and you know Ferraris with larger annual figures
than that! And when you look at those in the iconic Dark Highland
Green, the number gets down to 635. So it's great to find an
example that's highly original where it even shows the right signs
of having the factory finish. It has all the right special edition
details like the deleted badging for a sleeker style. And Ford
built a proper tribute to the hero car that ran around San
Francisco, right to the alloys to mimic McQueen's competition-style
torque thrust units. This is an actual mileage car that has been
driven and enjoyed, but you can also see an overall respect for
this coupe in the glow of the finish and the fit of the panels.
There have been some updates along the way, including LED
headlights, quarter window louvers, and upgraded tail lights. We
like how they add the right amount of sporty character to a classic
that's made for driving. And the updates that you'll find inside
and out seem like the kinds that are easily reversible in case you
want to return it to stock when the market starts to fully
recognize the 2009 Bullitt Mustang for its exotic-level rarity.
The black interior is clean, complete, and aggressive. It's a
loaded coupe with cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows,
power locks, dual airbags, side airbags, a tilt steering column,
ABS, cruise control, and programmable interior lighting. The only
addition you're likely to notice is the radio. It's now an AM/FM/CD
infotainment touchscreen, and upgrades like the backup camera and
Bluetooth really make this a far nicer cruiser. You will find the
most signs of use around the driver's area. It is still comfortable
and quite free from rips or tears. And since most of it is where
you'll be sitting, it's hardly noticeable from behind the wheel.
Instead, you'll enjoy the exclusive Bullitt pieces like the
machine-turned dash panel and logo horn cap. And grabbing the Hurst
shifter makes you feel as cool as McQueen.
Under the hood is the 4.6-liter V8. This 24-valve fuel-injected
powerhouse was already a modern legend, but Ford made sure the
Bullitt car was extra special. They gave this Ford Racing's Power
Upgrade Package, including a cold air intake. So this pony was
rated at 315 hp right out of the stable. And they didn't stop
there. They upgraded the suspension with stiffer shocks and a strut
tower brace that includes a plaque for your specially-numbered car
in this ultra-rare series. The motor fires up with the proper
modern car readiness, and the dual exhaust really delivers a
terrific rumble. You fully control the V8 and its muscular
soundtrack with the five-speed manual transmission. Add in power
steering, nice tread on sport tires, and four-wheel power disc
brakes to make for a terrific total cruiser.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual packet, special sun
shade, and two keys with fobs. Rarity, power, and iconic style let
you know there's always going to be a demand for this 2009 Bullitt
Mustang. Call today!!!
