Intent on establishing an evolved lineup of road cars, Ferrari began the new millennium with a clean sheet both in terms of styling and engineering when developing the Ferrari 360. Out went the trademark side strakes and pop-up headlights of its predecessors in favor of a curvaceous, streamlined body that also served to increase downforce by as much as four times that of the outgoing F355. Utilizing modern materials, this new platform was able to offer a twenty-eight percent weight savings with a forty percent increase in chassis rigidity over its predecessor. Significant to these improvements, this is the first production Ferrari to be constructed entirely in aluminum. Announced at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari 360 has set the precedent for future models to come, introducing new levels of comfort and usability combined with the level of performance expected from the esteemed Prancing Horse.

Equipped with the ever popular and rare gated six-speed manual transmission, this Ferrari offers an engaging mid-engined driving experience, one of the very last Ferrari models to feature such with three-pedals.
