2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible
Car History
The Camaro ran from 1967-2003 before its return in 2010. They had
good power, great options and a phenomenal ride quality. All
Camaro's seem to be hot on the marketplace today and these 2000's
are climbing in value, especially lower mileage examples.
We have a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible here at Adventure
Classics with only 37,344 miles on it in the stunning color
combination of red exterior with a cream interior and top, LS1
engine, and chrome wheels.
Mechanical
Ours has the legendary LS1 350 cubic inch engine under the hood
that was also was shared with the Corvette, and it was originally
rated around 325 horsepower. As you can see from the pics, it has
the SLP cold air intake, black intake runners, aluminum heads,
factory exhaust manifolds leading back to the dual exhaust and quad
tips, and all other factory stock parts including the power
steering and brakes, and air conditioning.
The engine compartment makes a clean presentation and this is a
modern classic with convenient features like the four-speed
automatic transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, and the modern
grip of fat black sidewall radial tires and chrome wide 10-spoke
mag wheels.
This is a high-horsepower Camaro from the final year of its
generation that has that mean street machine look and the LS1
performance to back it up.
Interior
The interior is stock and incredibly clean. It has a ton of
features and options like a power seat, power windows, power locks,
remote mirrors, remote trunk release, tilt steering wheel, AM/FM/CD
player, tan convertible top, tan carpet and floor mats, steering
wheel radio controls, trip odometer, and comfortable tank leather
bucket seats.
It is an ultra-desirable and factory stock looking interior plus
the comfort of ice-cold air conditioning, you can ride around with
the music turned up all through the seasons and with the top up or
down.
Exterior
Our Camaro Z28 is a performance car and this bright red really
makes the details standout on the red paint job with its swoopy
front end, stylish sides, twin red painted sports mirrors, black
windshield trim, chrome ten-spoke mag wheels, fog lights, Z28
badging, tan convertible top, and exhaust tips that tuck nicely
under the rear bumper.
These Z28 Camaro convertibles are very aerodynamic and look like
they are doing 100 miles per hour, even when standing still.
Conclusion
There aren't too many really low mileage 21 year old Camaros out
there, that look as nice as the beautiful red 2002 Chevrolet Camaro
Z28 Convertible that we have here at Adventure Classics.
You will know it is an exceptionally attractive idea at this price
and they are being scooped up by savvy collectors. Get your hands
on this one and make a smart investment that you can enjoy.
