Mechanical
It is motivated by a polished and detailed 383 stroker small block
Chevrolet V8 engine that fills the engine bay with power and has
chrome finned aluminum open element air cleaner and valve covers, a
performance chrome Holley four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake,
performance headers with dumps and a dual exhaust, aluminum
radiator and electric fan, Vintage air conditioning, billet pulley
system, modified distributor, spark plug wires, and ignition, and
is backed by a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive.
The suspension has been modified and beefed up with the addition of
the 9" Ford rear end, roll cage, and Fuel cell.
Interior
Inside is a new custom conversion that is as show worthy as it is
comfortable. It has dual tan buckets with side bolstering, air
conditioning, racing shifter, tilt steering column with the
billet/black steering wheel, painted dash with a full set of
performance black-face gauges in the original housings as well as
toggle switches, purple carpeting, roll cage, custom door panels,
as well as the nice presentation in the trunk that has the fuel
cell and battery.
Exterior
Our 40 is show or race ready right from its all-steel body that was
painted professionally in a purple haze with superb fit and finish
and great presence when you gaze at it.
It has superior brightwork including the iconic 40 Ford front
grille, stylish curved front and rear fenders, aluminum racing hood
scoop, and rides with the right stance on the brand new skinny in
front and fat in rear tires and shiny aluminum new racing wheels
with the great exhaust note coming out the rear.
The gasser is spotless top to bottom, inside and out and underneath
and is quite a beautiful build for any car show or cruise.
