This 1965 Backdraft re-creation is powered by a Roush/Shelby 451RFE
with stack fuel injection. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual
transmission with a limited-slip differential, VMS oil cooler
system with thermostat, aluminum radiator and shroud, VMS solid
motor mounts, VMS Stage 3 triple-tank system for brakes and clutch,
VMS side pipes, ceramic-coated headers, ceramic-coated side pipes
and an aluminum fuel tank with an internal pump. The Backdraft
roadster was originally built by Vintage Motorsports in North
Haven, CT. Over the years VMS has performed maintenance and
upgrades to the car, which is finished in British Racing Green with
silver stripes and Race Red outlines. The car also features a Ray
Dyot mirror on the driver's side, 3M rear fender paint protection
and traditional fender emblems. The interior, which is finished in
black with red stitching, has Speedhut custom gauges, billet dash
knobs and traditional-style seat belts. This roadster rides on
