This 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider was completely refurbished with work including a repaint in Basant Gray. The Basalt Gray Metallic was an available color for the modern Alfa Romeo 4C.
Dynamat insulation, a replacement black interior with seats said to be sourced from a later model Spider, and a Haartz Stayfast black cloth soft top has also been replaced.
The car is powered by a replacement 2.0L twin-cam inline-four motor with twin Weber carburetors linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An amplifier and Bluetooth receiver are installed, and additional modifications include an Imasaf exhaust with a Stinger rear section, a frame stiffener, a Centerline performance brake kit, Koni shocks, Sprint Filter air horns, and 16″ Rota wheels. The 16×7″ Rota wheels wear Alfa Romeo logo center caps and are wrapped in 205/55 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires. A Centerline frame stiffener is installed along with replacement springs, Koni shocks, and urethane suspension bushings. Stopping power is provided by a Centerline performance brake kit featuring cross-drilled rotors, braided stainless steel brake lines, and yellow-finished calipers.
The three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center stack. Replacement speedometer and tachometer cables were installed under previous ownership, and total mileage is unknown.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission is mounted with a Powerflex urethane bushing, and the car features a replacement Imasaf exhaust and a Centerline Stinger rear exhaust section.
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or other damage, and lists registration history in Washington State before being imported into British Columbia, Canada in August 2021.
