Vehicle Description
Built by Burning River Resto-Mods in Ohio, this custom 1963
Chevrolet Corvette started out as a running and driving original
1963 Split-Window. It was painted in GM red, and sanded and
finished with PPG Vibrance clear coat, giving it depth and a
mirror-like finish. Inside, the rear floor was replaced and the
inner wheel wells were adjusted to accommodate the narrowed Art
Morrison IRS chassis, then RideTech adjustable coilovers were
added. The underside of the car was sprayed with Raptor Liner to
give it a clean look and add durability. The inside floor was
covered in Kilmat sound-deadening mat. It is powered by a Mast
Motorsports L8T 560hp engine with ECU and a Holley front-runner
system, backed by a 4L60 transmission with EZ-TCU. This car is
equipped with all-new brake lines, fuel lines and a custom Rick's
gas tank running a GM fuel pump. Cooling for the engine is supplied
through a DeWitt's radiator with an electric cooling fan. Stopping
power is supplied via a Wilwood master cylinder, Wilwood 14-inch
rotors in front and 6-piston calipers, with Wilwood 14-inch rotors
and 4-piston calipers in the rear. It has a new wiring harness from
American Autowire, Dakota Digital VHX gauges and a matching clock
for precise, accurate readouts of all the engine's vitals. Other
amenities include an Ididit tilt steering column, Crutchfield
Bluetooth radio with an amplifier, a Vintage Air system, and smoked
glass and power windows. The hood opens and closes by a switch to
control the Dakota Digital linear actuator. The interior is
accented by a light tan custom0stitched leather dash, custom
leather seats, custom leather door panels and rear panels, as well
as a suede headliner and plush carpet. All the stainless trim and
chrome bumpers were either polished to show-quality or replaced
with show-quality parts. Other upgrades include LED rear
taillights, a new power antenna, a factory-looking wood steering
wheel and Detroit Speed electric headlights.
