Vehicle Description
This 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha is one of 729 examples produced for the
final model year, 417 of which were wagons. H1 Alpha models were
equipped with a GM Duramax turbo-diesel 6.6-liter V8 engine. This
example is powered by this engine, which is fitted with an Edge ECU
programmer and a custom stainless-steel exhaust system fabricated
by The Diesel Shop. A steel main fuel cell has also been added, and
the filters and lines were replaced. The fluids were changed in
anticipation of the sale. The engine is mated to an Allison 5-speed
automatic transmission with an overdrive top gear, a dual-range
transfer case, and Eaton locking front and rear differentials. The
transmission is reportedly fitted with an upgraded torque
converter, and the differential seals, bearings and covers have
been replaced. The truck was reportedly refinished in factory BASF
Black under previous ownership after fitting aftermarket fender
flares. It is equipped with full Rigid Industries LED front and
rear light bars, a custom roof rack and bumpers, JW speakers, LED
headlights, four air horns, a custom snorkel, aluminum AMP power
step mounts with LED puddle lights and LED exterior bulbs. A J.
Auston Fabrications 12-inch suspension lift has been installed,
along with custom driveshafts, upgraded CV axle shafts and
U-joints, and a replacement Pitman arm, Idler arm, center link,
ball joints and tie rod ends. The braking system was overhauled
with replacement calipers, upgraded rotors and pads, and braided
stainless-steel lines. It rides on 16.5-inch steel wheels with
41.5-inch tires. The front and rear bucket seats are trimmed in
black leather with custom yellow stitching. It is equipped with
heated front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a rearview
camera, keyless entry, an aftermarket LCD rear-view screen and
tablets mounted in the front seatbacks. A custom starlight
headliner has also been added, as well as a custom audio system
with an Alpine head unit, JL Audio speakers, five amplifiers and
three subwoofers. A 3-spoke MOMO steering wheel fronts a 100-mph
speedometer, a tachometer with a 3,500-rpm redline and auxiliary
gauges. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
