This 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG coupe was sold new in Newport
Beach, CA, in February 2011. The exterior is finished in Iridium
Silver Metallic paint over a classic red/black leather two-tone
interior, which provides an excellent color pallet to join other
classic and collector Mercedes-Benz cars, such as the 300SL
Gullwing. This SLS coupe was ordered new with option choices such
as AMG Extended Interior Carbon Fiber interior trim, a Bang &
Olufsen sound system and metallic paint. It is powered by a
6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 563hp and 479
ft/lbs of torque. That AMG power is delivered to the road through
the AMG Speedshift 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with
steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Mercedes-Benz AMG produced
just 1,837 SLS coupes for the U.S. market. The gullwing doors were
only available in the coupe, and it was the last model produced by
Mercedes-Benz with this style door. The car was produced in 2010
and discontinued in 2014.
