Vehicle Description
This 1978 ford F250 underwent a professional frame off two-year
restoration that was completed in 2021. There are only a few
hundred shake down miles since completion. The power comes from a
429ci V8-cobra jet engine paired with the completely rebuilt stock
manual 4-speed transmission and transfer case supplying power to
the full floating Dana 60 rear and high pinion dana 60 front
differentials. All drive train components have been sand blasted
rebuilt and powder coated. The engine exhales through headers and a
factory style exhaust system. The front disc brakes have been
upgraded with dual piston calipers. This factory air conditioning
cab with XLT Ranger trim has been fully insulated with sound and
vibration matting and upgraded with an Old Air Products climate
control system along with a retro sound stereo system equipped with
blue tooth capability. The factory gauge and dash components were
completely restored. The sounds come through 4 JBL speakers. A new
painless wiring harness was installed along with other upgrades.
This F250 rides on BFG 35-12.50 17's mounted on Pro Comp oval
slotted polished aluminum wheels. Everything on this truck that
could be powder coated was powder coated. The exterior is finished
in DeBeer paint and materials.
