This 1970 Chevrolet K5 is the recipient of a frame-off restoration.
Powered by an LS 6.0-liter GM LQ4 V8 engine mated to an automatic
transmission with a dual-range transfer case. The steering has been
improved with crossover steering and dual Bilstein stabilizer
shocks. It features include a Holley 102mm throttle body,
installation of a short ram-air intake, and replacement of the fuel
filter, fuel pump, intake manifold, throttle body, electric fans,
and fuel rails. Finished in metallic orange with silver vinyl
center sections have been added on the tailgate and both sides,
covering custom airbrushed details on both sides of the vehicle.
Exterior equipment includes a Softopper (removable black soft top
with roll-up sides/rear), LED lighting, clear taillight and side
marker lenses with billet surrounds, a rear receiver hitch, chrome
bumpers and custom billet side mirrors. Brand new 17-inch Pro Comp
Tires wrapped with new 315/70R17 Goodyear Territory MT tires have
been installed. The truck is equipped with manually locking front
hubs, Deaver 4-inch leaf springs, and Bilstein shocks and dual
steering stabilizers have been added. The cabin houses black
leather seats sourced from a later-model Cadillac. Black carpet
lines the floors, and additional equipment includes a
power-adjustable driver's seat, TMI dash pad and TMI door panels,
removable leather rear seat with a quick-release, roll cage with
door bars, and a Boss Audio Systems touchscreen head unit wired to
a backup camera and speakers located in the door panels and rear
bedside panels. The interior roll cage is simply a work of art. A
polished billet 3-spoke steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit
steering column, that sits ahead of Dakota Digital gauges.
