1970. According to the Build Sheet, this LS6 Chevelle was built to
Order #JEV776 and assembled at Chevrolet's Lakewood Plant in
Atlanta, GA. It is powered by a factory 454ci LS6 engine that has
been rebuilt and has the correct casting number and date code that
predates the body, mated to the 3-speed automatic transmission that
is original to the car with the correct matching-numbers stamp. It
was delivered new to Central Chevrolet in Atlanta, GA, with key
performance options such as the GW8 4.10 rear axle, G80
posi-traction and ZL2 cowl-induction hood, plus F41 Special
Performance suspension, J50 power brakes with JL2 front discs, a
T60 heavy-duty battery and U14 gauges, including tachometer. It is
finished in its factory Tuxedo Black exterior color with a white
hood and deck stripes over a black bench seat interior. The factory
4.10 rear differential gears have been swapped out for a 3.50 gear
set with Eaton posi-traction unit, an aluminum Be Cool radiator has
been installed, and a quick-ratio steering box and larger rear
wheels have been mounted. The sale includes a copy of the Build
Sheet from the 1980s, as well as the original Build Sheet in its
current more deteriorated form. The original parts included are the
4.10 rear gear set, rear wheels, radiator and steering box. 81,813
