This 1966 Pontiac Tempest features the Sprint convertible option
(H.O.) which included a 230ci overhead cam engine with a Quadrajet
4-barrel carburetor with a split exhaust manifold, backed by an ST
300 super turbine automatic transmission. Equipped with power
steering and all new or rebuilt engine, transmission, drive line,
front end, brakes and dual exhaust as well as a new convertible top
and seals installed, these cars were a limited production that cost
more to purchase than the V8 models and boasts 15 to 18 miles per
gallon.
