This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS is a street machine that maintains
its factory looks with choice high-performance upgrades to match.
Beginning with its eye-catching Candy Red paint finish, handsomely
contrasted by white rally stripes and white upholstery, the
Camaro's underside is finished in a high-gloss, body-color paint
finish. Residing underneath the raised cowl-induction-style hood is
a 454ci big-block Chevrolet engine, finished in Candy Red and
fortified with a high-rise aluminum intake manifold, 4-barrel
carburetor and tubular headers feeding a dual exhaust system. A
chrome, open-element air cleaner, Moroso chrome rocker covers and
contrasting inner fenders set the Camaro apart. The engine is mated
to a Hurst-shifted Super T10 4-speed manual transmission and a
12-bolt posi-traction rear end, plus a set of adjustable traction
bars. A factory tachometer monitors the revs and power brakes, and
power steering provides the cruising experience. Road contact is
delivered by a set of great-looking GM Z28-style 5-spoke wheels
mounting BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
