Vehicle Description
This custom 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham was completely taken
apart, body worked and painted inside and out with six coats of
House of Kolor clear coat. It took over 500 hours to complete the
body work and paint. After a month of curing out the car was then
sanded with 800 grit up to 2000 grit to give it a flat texture
finish once it was buffed out. The license plate section on the
front bumper was welded up for a cleaner smoother look before all
the chrome trim including bumpers was sent out to sand blast and
powder coated with primer. Once returned over 100 pieces were
completely body worked and painted to match the cars exterior BMW
alpine white paint job. All trim was also spiked with House of
Kolor white ice pearl. Inside the trunk was cleaned up and sprayed
with white bedliner. All rubber seals were replaced and the car was
fit with a set of 15-inch LA Wire Wheels customized with Cadillac
center caps and a set of Coker white walls to set it off. The car
sits on air ride with AccuAir level ride adjustment. It has three
settings, one for cruising, one for riding low and one for laying
it out. This vehicle is equipped with a fresh front windshield and
rebuilt vent windows color matched to the body. Custom front wheel
wells were installed up front and painted black. After pressure
washing the engine bay, the car was sent out to have the
transmission and engine oil drained, sealed up and a new aluminum
radiator installed. The vehicle also received a new battery and
cables with kill fuses, new radiator hoses, drain plug and a new
overflow tank.
