Vehicle Description
This 1976 Jeep Wagoneer is an original vehicle with a few updates
that was purchased through Wagoneer experts Wagonmaster in
Kerrville, TX. This example is painted in a shade of Reef Green
Metallic, which is accented with a wood applique accent line across
the top of the door line. The purposeful-looking chrome bumpers and
nerf strips complement the chrome hubcaps that are affixed to the
steel wheels and Radical tires. Although largely stock, this
Wagoneer has been treated to some subtle modifications. Under the
hood, a 360ci V8 engine from American Motors Corporation has been
upgraded with a throttle body fuel-injection system and electronic
ignition. This increases power, fuel economy and reliability while
maintaining a stock look under the hood with the factory air
cleaner still in place. The engine is paired with a Hydramatic
automatic gearbox with a Quadra-Trac 4-wheel-drive system that has
both high and low gears. Power steering and power disc brakes help
wheel the truck around and the standard air conditioning has been
upgraded with a Vintage Air compressor, which keeps the cabin cool.
For the most part, this truck is as it left the factory back in
1976. The green vinyl interior on the bucket seats is all-original
and presents well for a truck of this age. Factory options also
include the power tailgate window, fuel tank skid plate, cargo roof
rack and cruise control. This truck features service records from
new to 2012, and has the original Window Sticker, original purchase
order, original owner's manual and some of the period Jeep sales
literature. With 58,731 miles (title reads exempt).
