Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova custom station wagon is finished
in Onyx Black with a switchblade silver roof and a custom blue
bucket seat interior. It is powered by a period-correct 327ci built
to resemble the legendary Nova L79 327ci engine. The transmission
is a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission hooked to a Hurst
competition plus shifter. The car was upgraded with Chevrolet power
disc brakes up front. It has the original power steering and a
period Chevrolet two-spoke steering wheel and a custom-built
exhaust. It received new weather stripping, windshield chrome and
bright work including rocker and wheel well moldings. The factory
style front bucket seat, rear seat and dash pad and sail panels
were custom upholstered in blue vinyl with a silver stitch. New
carpet and headliner and door panels were also installed. The car
sits on a set of Boyd Coddington 5-spoke wheels with Kumho low
profile tires.
