This 1936 Ford Pickup has been custom restored with a new custom
boxed frame siting on an independent torsion bar front end and
8-3/4 posi-traction rear end on leaf springs. The top was chopped
and 1939 Cadillac taillights were added to the cab. The bed has new
wood and tilts open to expose a fuel cell along with a new Optima
Redtop battery. Powering this ford pickup is a 350ci small block
Chevrolet engine with a high rise Eldelbrock performance intake
manifold holding duel Eldelbrock 650 carburetors topped with a
tunnel ram. The engine is backed by a TH350 automatic transmission.
It is also equipped with a set of Chromed Lakester headers. This
vehicle is cooled by an aluminum radiator and an electric fan.
Inside the cab are riveted aluminum bomber seats, custom Stewart
Warner Aviator gages with an original MIG fighter jet clock housed
in a custom center console, with a Lokar shifter and removable
steering wheel. This truck sits on a set of staggered 15-inch deep
dish chrome rims sized 26X8 on the front and 29X18 on the rear.
