Sold new at Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, AZ. Custom ordered in Holly
green. With factory options like 3;73 locking rear end and heavy
duty suspension. Tilt wheel, gauge package. Belonged to an off road
race team from AZ for 36 years. The truck is virtually untouched
from their build of it 35 years ago. The build started out with a
low mileage factory short box 2 wd C-10. The interior received a
leather wrapped full roll cage. Mastercraft race seats with with
70's era plaid inserts. Matching plaid inserts in the door panels.
GM sport steering wheel. Simpson racing belts. Very rare "Hickey
off-road" drop down fiberglass hood. Pre-runner front push bar with
KC daylighters . Bed mount spare tire carrier. Custom off-road rear
bumper. The truck rolls on vintage "Enkei" gold anodized wheels
with BF Goodrich all-terrain T/A's. The suspension retains the orig
"Rough country" dual racing shocks upfront and "Mickey Thompson "
rear shocks. Front and rear axle truss kits. Rough country high
capacity rear diff cover. Under the hood lies a GM "LT1" crate
motor loaded with roller rockers, Hi lift cam, Gear drive, Hooker
headers with custom made stainless exhaust system. Updated "Bowtie"
cyl heads, and performance Edelbrock carb. The body retains its
factory code 46 Holly green color on AZ desert sheetmetal. Hand
laid custom pinstriping. This truck has been used sparingly over
the years. Showing only 77,000 miles. A very unique vintage C-10
off-road pre-runner. With a huge folder of orig GM documentation
and receipts for all that was done to it over the years.
