This original 1956 Buick Special Riviera 4-door hardtop is powered
by a 322/220hp Fireball V8 engine mated to a Dynaflow automatic
transmission. The Special was Buick's price leader, with ads
reading "priced like smaller cars." This Buick features the Riviera
4-door hardtop body with Sweep-Ahead styling. It was acquired from
a Florida family, who owned the vehicle for 50 years. From the Boyd
