The original owners of this 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger pickup sold it
in May 2021 to the current owners. This is a mostly original truck.
The truck was sold new from Bill Hellman Motor Co. of Delta, CO, to
a local nursery called Flowers Farm in Montrose, CO, and it was
used as a work truck on the nursery grounds. This 1978 F-250 comes
with its original matching-numbers engine and transmission. The
factory 400ci V8 engine is paired with a 3-speed automatic
transmission. There is a complete Deluxe Marti Report accompanying
the sale that documents the truck from new. The Marti Report
indicates this is one of only five trucks that had the Cinnamon
Glow paint with Medium Copper lower deluxe two-tone paint scheme.
Also, this is the one and only truck in 1978 to have the
aforementioned paint and a Saddle knit vinyl Ranger bench seat. The
truck has working factory air conditioning and heat, a sliding rear
window and a tool stowage box in the bed. It is noted that there
has been some paint corrections and touch-ups. The original
racetrack moldings are on the truck as well. The original wheels
and hubcaps are currently on the truck, and the new tires were put
on less than 25 miles ago. The interior just had a new OEM seat
cover installed. The odometer reads 41,557 miles and is believed to
be actual, but the current title does read mileage exempt.
