This custom 1989 Ford Mustang is powered by a Gen 1 Coyote
5.0-liter crate engine fitted with a 3.2-liter Whipple supercharger
capable of 800hp. The engine is backed by a TKO600 5-speed manual
transmission with a new dual-friction clutch. Dyno-tuned on E85
fuel, the engine produces 800hp, or 750hp with 93 octane pump gas.
Its power is transferred to the ground with a 3.55-geared 8.8-inch
Ford rear end with a Detroit Locker limited-slip differential. This
Mustang is equipped with 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a 6-point
roll cage with swing-out and removable door bars, subframe
connectors, a driveshaft loop, coilover front suspension, Lakewood
rear suspension and 5-lug Strange Engineering axles with 3-inch lug
studs and C-clip eliminators. It is finished in a custom-wrapped
exterior and a full gray interior with air conditioning, windshield
