The 1972 MG B Mk III Roadster featured here is finished in Blaze
red over black interior and matching black folding convertible top.
This particular example was acquired by IT'S ALIVE! in 2019 and was
subject to a thorough mechanical inspection. Subsequently, the
brakes were fully serviced and the fuel system addressed with the
cleaning of the lines and the fitting of a new fuel tank. The
previous owner, of 21 years, is believed to have overseen the Weber
downdraft conversion while the spin on oil filter also adds a level
of maintenance ease.
As a Mk III MGB, this generation is well known for being the last
iteration with traditional chrome steel bumpers, while the refined
dashboard layout is more modern, incorporating fresh air
ventilation. The driving experience is enhanced by the optional
Overdrive transmission which makes highway cruising a breeze while
the 1.8L four cylinder provided plenty of pep to push itself and
the occupants to wine country or just your local car gathering.
This MGB also features 8-spoke MiniLite 14" wheels, chrome luggage
rack, AM/FM radio and right hand and left hand rear view mirrors.
