1965 PONTIAC GTO, #'S MATCHING PHS DOCUMENTED, FACTORY TRI-POWER, 4
SPEED TRANS. This 1965 GTO presents itself beautifully with its
Burgundy, Code N. It has a very glossy clear coat finish on a clean
rust free Texas body. It is straight down both sides, all gaps and
seams are nice. The bumpers are original and in good condition. The
stainless trim, grills, mirror, door handles, tail panel and tail
light bezels have been polished or replaced with new. It rides on a
set of 15X7 Pontiac Rally 1 wheels with a set of BFG T/A radial
tires. The black seat upholstery, door panels, armrests, pads,
headliner, visors and carpet have all been replaced. It has a wood
steering wheel and console. Looking at the dash: the wood grain on
the dash is in good shape, it has the optional tach and gauges,
front seat belts, retro AM/FM Radio and Pontiac floor mats. The
engine compartment is nicely detailed with its completely rebuilt
#'s matching 389 cid engine/360 hp with a tri-power set up. The
wiring harness has been replaced along with all the brake lines,
power brakes, 4-core Harrison radiator. It has correct chrome air
cleaners, factory correct chrome valve covers, spring style battery
cables. It features power steering and hood insulation. The engine
compartment is nicely finished in satin black. The undercarriage is
nicely detailed. The floors appear to be all clean and original
metal. They are finished with a nice coat of satin black paint.
Looking up at the bottom of the motor it is clean as well as the
Muncie M20 4-speed transmission. All the front end components and
all the bushings appear to have been replaced. It has a 3:55 rear
end gear ratio. The E-brake cable assembly is complete and working.
The gas tank and sending unit have been replaced. The trunk
compartment is very nice with a spare tire and jack assembly along
with a trunk mat. It has a light coat of gray trunk splatter for a
nice clean factory look, new weather stripping and the jacking
instructions decal. This is a very nice original1965 Pontiac GTO!
It really looks, sounds and performs well! We have receipts from
restoration and a copy of the original 1965 title. Make it yours!!
