This 1987 Nissan 300ZX was originally campaigned by George Alderman in IMSA's 3.0-liter GTU class and underwent a bare-tub restoration between 2016 and 2019 by Racecraft of Woodinville, Washington. The car features a fiberglass body finished in yellow over a tub and a steel tube frame. Power is from a naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter VG30E V6 mated with a four-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, and equipment includes a rear spoiler, individual throttle bodies, a fuel cell, dry-sump lubrication, fire suppression system, fixed-back bucket seat with Schroth harnesses, and Panasport wheels with Goodyear slicks. This Z31 race car was raced by Jim Froula at the 2021 and 2022 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and is now being offered on consignment by the selling dealer in Portland, Oregon with photos and documentation from the refurbishment, a SOVREN logbook, and a bill of sale.
