Vehicle Description
1964 Thunderbird- A/C(!)- Beautiful in "Fiesta Rangoon Red"- 390
CID -Show and Cruise Ready
This Super Sharp Red 1964 Thunderbird is a serious "eye-catching"
beauty. The previous previous is in his late 80's and is sad to
have to give up his T-Bird because of his failing eyesight.
Originally sold through the Kansas City DSO, it spent most of its
time in the South. The previous owner lived in Georgia where the
restoration was done prior to his purchase. The odometer shows
8,113, which according to the paperwork he has, the engine rebuild
and (probably) paintwork was done at that time as well
(approximately ten years ago). The restoration was not done with
the intent to have it be "100% Authentic". The Thunderbird "expert"
will note that the trim tag paint code is V for Bright Light
Yellow, the gauges were replaced with AutoMeter (for more
accuracy?) and the Wide White Wall radial tires mounted on those
cool true Wire Wheels were certainly not original to this 1964
Thunderbird. You'll love the factoryAir Conditioning!Other features
include Power Windows, Steering and Brakes, and that iconic
"Tilt-Away" Steering wheel (super easy for entry and exit!). It's
powered by the 390 Cubic Inch, 300 Horsepower ("Z" Code)
Thunderbird engine and Automatic (C6 Cruise-O Matic) Transmission.
We think you'll love this 'Bird as much as our seller does, he was
proud to drive it and take it to the shows. And, with receipts to
prove it, he maintained it like a true "car guy"! Visually, She
really stands tall, you'll be proud to be the new owner.
