Looking for a Mustang that has been custom built to be driven and
enjoyed? Look no further!
This 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe is a restomod with driving in mind!
The car was professionally restored and the normal rust areas
replaced with new metal and then undercoated so they will never
rust, even if you daily driver this classic! The exterior is smooth
and straight and has a coat of Nightmist Blue Metallic paint that
glistens in the sunlight. American Racing Torque Thrust wheels
wrapped in radial tires look great, and provide better grip than
this car ever had in 1966! All chrome and emblems have been
replaced, along with the front and back glass, and this beauty is
ready to show!
Pop the hood and you'll find a polished and built 289 CID V8!
Topped with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor mounted to an Edelbrock
Performer RPM aluminum intake provides the air/fuel mixture through
a chrome air cleaner. A Proform HEI distributor provides the spark
and the exhaust gases are routed out through ceramic coated shorty
headers running to dual exhaust. That combination gives this small
block Pony car a great sound! An electric fan keeps it nice and
cool, even with the A/C going! A 3-speed automatic transmission
backs that V8 engine and shifts great!
The interior is spectacular! The dash, doors, and rear panels are
all painted as nice as the exterior of the car and buffed to a show
quality shine. Pair that with the Parchment Deluxe Pony interior
and you've got a jaw-dropper! An AM/FM/CD player has been added to
the dash just above the factory A/C controls, which operate the
newly installed A/C system. It will keep you nice and cool on those
hot summer night cruises! The interior is all new including the
dash pad, door handles, and window cranks.
For drivability, a full K-member has been added with coil over
shocks, power rack and pinion steering, tubular upper and lower
control arms have been added along with power front disc brakes
with drilled and slotted rotors. Meaning this Mustang drives more
like a new car than a 66 Mustang! Power steering makes turning
through the billet tilt steering column with custom steering wheel
a breeze! Again, everything on this car was built with driving in
mind. This is not a trailer queen. It is built to be driven and
enjoyed! But, it is also nice enough to show and bring home
trophies for your garage! It's not too often we see the combination
of those things in a Mustang priced in the $20,000s.
