Vehicle Description
1987 Chrysler 5th Avenue
Why This Vehicle is Special
The Chrysler Fifth Avenue was a trim level/option package or model
name used by Chrysler for its larger sedans from 1979 to 1993. The
title "Fifth Avenue" references a street in New York City in the
United States which contains many upscale shops and cultural
attractions.
We have a literal time-capsule of a 1987 Chrysler 5th Avenue here
at Skyway Classics with only 41075 original miles on it and you can
tell when you see it!
The Fifth Avenue trim package was offered as an option to the New

Mechanical
The engine in our 5th Avenue was the only powertrain available an
LA 140 horsepower 5.2 liter/318 cubic inch V8 engine with a Carter
two-barrel carburetor paired with a TorqueFlite three-speed
automatic transmission.
It looks as new with the power steering, brakes, air, and sits in a
very tidy as new engine compartment as well.
It rolls down the road on factory wire wheel hubcaps and whitewall
tires. It also has a stock appearing detailed trunk with factory
mats and full-size spare tire and jack.
Interior
The dual front power seats featuring Corinthian leather 60/40 front
seat interior looks soooo plush and you really do almost melt into
it when you sit in it. It is very plush looking with great trim and
features like the Air conditioning/heater with automatic
temperature control, Power windows, Luxury two-spoke steering
wheel, Stereo radio, Automatic speed control, and Tilt steering
column.
Exterior
This Chrysler wears its white exterior paint well accented by the
padded landau-style vinyl top to create a car of distinctive
appearance. The panels and paint look to be extremely nice and the
impression of luxury is further enhanced by the fact that our 5th
features tinted glass.
