This was a complete running and driving vehicle until it met its demise from dealing with unreliable repair people. My loss can be your gain.
The car itself is in decent condition. Paint is rough but presentable. The car is missing the engine, transmission, drive shaft, radiator, and battery. The engine compartment has been poorly painted flat black, and the front frame has been wire-wheeled to the metal in preparation for painting. It appears there has been a small modification made to the frame in the attempt to accommodate a small block Chevy. The overall frame and body of the car is good and the interior upholstery is very nice. No cracked glass; all the accessories are intact (door handles, window latches, etc.) are good and the chrome is in great condition throughout.
When the vehicle was running, we had a custom Vintage Air A/C system installed (as they do not make a direct fit kit for this vehicle, which was nearly $10,000 alone). The system is still complete, less the missing A/C compressor.
The 1963 Series 62 is quite rare and a desirable model among Cadillac enthusiasts. This car is a perfect candidate for a Resto-Mod project or to locate replacement parts to get it back up and running.
