Vehicle Description
This 1962 Lincoln Continental is powered by a 430ci V8 engine with
a 2-barrel carburetor producing 300hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque. The
fuel pump and radiator were replaced, and the engine was resealed
during previous ownership. The engine is paired with a dual-range
automatic transmission. It is equipped with a power-adjustable
front bench seat, electric windows, power steering, power 4-wheel
drum brakes, rear-hinged rear doors, a push-button radio and
14-inch steel wheels with chrome covers. The car was acquired by
the consignor in 2022, and subsequent work included replacing the
voltage regulator. Its features include a driver's-side mirror,
reverse-hinged rear doors, quad headlamps, dual exhaust outlets,
and chrome trim on the grille, rocker panels and beltline moldings.
It is finished in white over red, and the paint is bubbling on both
rear doors. The 14-inch steel wheels wear chrome-finished hubcaps
and are mounted with 8.50-14 Lester whitewall tires. The car is
equipped with power steering and braking is handled by
power-assisted drums at all four corners. The front suspension,
wheel cylinders and brake shoes were serviced in 2021. The cabin
features two rows of bench seats upholstered in red leather with a
matching dashboard and door panels. Its features include
wood-accented trim, a push-button radio, a power-adjustable front
bench seat, power windows and front-seat lap belts. The 3-spoke
steering wheel has a chrome horn ring and frames a sweeping 120-mph
speedometer, an analog clock and gauges for the temperature and
fuel level. This fourth-generation Continental is offered with a
