The previous owner recently spent over $50,000 on restoration and
upgrades. We have a thick binder of documentation. The work was
done at Pure Vision which was on a Motortrend TV show. It was a
clean, rust-free car to start with. Only 56,000 miles which were
put on in sunny Palm Springs California. A manual shift,
air-conditioned convertible is very desirable!
EXTERIOR: Rust free original metal. The gaps are square and flush.
No bubbles, no damage. Sport mirrors were added. Recently repainted
its original color. Polished glossy with no significant flaws. New
power top motor. Nice white convertible with a glass window.
Original chrome is straight and shiny. Grill and tail panel are
clean. Original glass. New Magnum 500 wheels and BFG tires look
great!
INTERIOR: Sharp looking cool white interior. The dash was apart, a
factory tachometer was installed, and he made sure everything was
working. The instrument area is excellent. Upgraded Vintage Air
controls are electric instead of original cables. A retro stereo
fits in the factory hole. Sharp looking custom wheel. New power top
switch and new clock. It has the Holley digital screen for the
engine vitals in the glovebox. Seats were recushioned and
reupholstered. New door panels and trim. New carpet and embroidered
mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: New crate 302 from Blueprint motors. It makes
300 hp-330 lbs of torque. New aluminum intake and Holley Sniper
fuel injection, new shorty street headers, new electronic ignition
system. New power steering system, new Vintage Air system, new
Wilwood power brake. Very well sorted: battery properly secured,
new alternator, washer bottle and horns are hooked up. Radiator,
hoses, shroud, and fan were replaced. The engine bay is dry clean
metal.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean rust-free metal. Under the trunk lid and
jamb are glossy. Complete jack and spare assembly. Matching mat and
tire cover. New weatherstrip and well liner. A soft cover is
included.
UNDERSIDE: Several new components in the front end like the lower
control arms, ball joints, sway bar end links and bushings.
Miscellaneous steering components were replaced. Added sway bar in
back. New Wilwood front disc brake system. New Stealth Fuel tank,
fuel pump. New custom exhaust system. Looking up at the motor it
still looks brand new, motor mounts and starter are new. Converted
to a 5-speed. All the components have been replaced- the trans,
bellhousing, clutch assembly, and linkage. New driveshaft.
Completely rest free original floors, frame rails and rockers.
This is going to give somebody a lot of joy. It is a rust free,
unabused, low mile car that had $50,000 in professional upgrades
and restoration. I bet there is nothing to do other than put gas in
it!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
