Vehicle Description
Great driving 1973 Detomaso Pantera. This is a numbers matching
car, with it's original 351C engine. Not a GTS, but has many GTS
upgrades, such as the graphics, fender flares, and 15x10 and 15x8
genuine Campagnolo GTS wheels. If you're not familiar, you can do a
little research and see that the rear wheels are quite rare, and
bring about $5k themselves, over the standard 15x7 Pantera rear
wheel. Car is super solid. The only rust is a few bubbles around
the windshield. Floor pans, fenders, doors, everything is super
solid. No signs of any collision damage, ever. This is absolutely a
no-hit body. Car is a factory white car, and has had paint touch
ups here and there over the years. It's an early 73 car (1/73), so
it got the 72 and previous style dash, which most think is a better
dash than the later ones. Technically, the car is considered a 72
1/2, and is the highest documented vin 72 1/2 car. Interior appears
all original, right down to the carpet. Pretty much everything
works on the car with the exception of the air conditioning. The AC
system is completely intact, and may work with a charge, but I
haven't tried. Previous owner installed speakers in the door
panels, and behind the seats. Has a Pioneer head unit in the stock
location. I included some pictures of the car from a recent photo
shoot for a leather jacket company. The car runs and drives very
nice, and we drive it quite frequently. It has new clutch master
cyl, new brake master cyl, all 4 brake calipers just rebuilt, new
tires all around, wheels were blasted and powder coated. Steering
rack completely rebuilt last year. Shifts nice, and drives like it
should. Odometer shows 36k miles, however there is no way to verify
if that is original. A few things that are not working, are the
horn, parking brake, and AC isn't charged. The drivers seatbelt
also doesn't retract. This is the perfect Pantera to get started in
the hobby. You can take it to the next level, or just enjoy as it
is.
