Vehicle Description
This custom 1953 Chevrolet 3100 5-window pickup has undergone a
frame-off nut-bolt restoration. It has been upgraded with a
fuel-injected 5.3-liter LS engine dressed in Chevrolet-script
Holley coil pack covers and coated in Burnt Bronze from Cerakote,
with an All American Billet serpentine belt drive system. The
engine is backed by a 4L60 4-speed overdrive automatic
transmission. The chassis is equipped with a Mustang II IFS front
suspension with tubular A-arms, coilover shocks and power rack &
pinion steering. The chassis is fully boxed front to rear with
4-link out back with coilovers and a Quick Performance 9-inch rear
axle. For stopping power, the truck is equipped with Wilwood power
disc brakes on all four corners. It is plumbed with all new
stainless brake lines and a HotRod fuel hose, and the chassis is
coated in gloss black. Inside the leather interior there is a
one-off custom bolstered seat with perforated leather and French
seams with door panels to match. The driver is greeted with a Sparc
retro period-correct billet wheel that has been wrapped in
hand-stitched leather and is on a tilt column. There is a fully
wrapped cab and dash with Dakota Digital gauges, and capped with an
LS FAB Chevrolet billet grille cover and glove box door. The pickup
has been completely rewired, which is hidden and tucked away. The
belly of the cab has been UPOL Raptor-lined, and the inside has
Kilmat for sound-deadening and heat transfer. The Euro gray glass
complements the overall feel of the truck and has a panoramic
one-piece windshield and door glass. The doors have been loaded
with all-new regulators, Kilmat-lined and utilize Altman latches
for soft opening and closing. The bed features exotic beech wood
finished in a rich stain and satin clear coat. The fuel tank has
been removed from the cab and now has an EFI fuel tank underneath;
the bed is filled through a pop-up gas filler cap. This custom
5-window short-bed pickup is painted in Rainforest Green and has a
satin-finish engine bay. The hood has been updated with modern gas
struts for smooth action. The wheels are a custom-built set of
Bonneville two-piece forged U.S. Mags and are wrapped in Diamond
Back true red lines. **TITLED AS 1953 CHEV 3600**
