This custom 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS underwent a full-body
off-rotisserie restoration that took two years to complete. It is
powered by a 6.0-liter LQ9 LS engine with a BTR Stage 3 high-lift
cam topped off with a ZL1 supercharger that puts out 650hp. It is
backed by a 4-speed 4L60E transmission built to handle all the
power with a 3500-stall converter, as well as a posi-traction rear
end with 4.10 gears. This Camaro is riding on a highly upgraded
suspension that features a 4-link in the rear, tubular A-arms in
the front and adjustable coilovers all the way around. Stopping
power is provided by Wilwood brakes on all four corners. The body,
frame and all panels were soda-blasted and epoxy-primed. The paint
and bodywork have over 1,200 hours in them. The jet-black paint
with red stripes has a mirror-glass finish. The exterior features
RS headlights and a grille kit with projection lights. The interior
is all custom and is equipped with a kit from TCI interiors laid in
bright red leather, a red carpet, a custom console, Vintage Air
heat and air conditioning system with defrost, Dakota Digital dash,
Ididit steering column, power windows, power door locks, a backup
camera, 13.6 Tesla tablet/radio with a nice sound system and a
trunk kit.
