Vehicle Description
This custom 1989 Land Rover Defender D90 4x4 SUV has undergone and
complete and no-expense-spared restoration. It is powered by a new
6.2-liter V8 LS crate engine paired to a 6-speed automatic
transmission with a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu tap shifter and the GM
Connect and Cruise ultimate powertrain package from GM Performance.
The suspension was upgraded with a 4x4 off-road package, and
includes power brakes with brand-new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A
tires on black powder-coated 16-inch Terrafirma Dakar alloy wheels
with a matching full-size spare. The exterior was finished in
silver with black accents and includes a new smoked LED headlight
and taillight package, smoked Rigid fog lights and smoked LED light
bar. This vehicle has new custom fenders, roof rack and bumpers,
with a 10,000-pound WARN EVO winch and tow hooks also added. The
custom interior features bucket seats and dash outfitted in black
leather upholstery with gray double-diamond stitching. A
custom-built PUMA dash was installed that includes upgraded
AutoMeter gauges, rocker switches and a Pioneer 6.2-inch LED
touchscreen head unit connected to surround sound speakers.
Additional modern upgrades include power steering, power brakes,
air conditioning, tinted windows, moon roof, rear cab rubber mats,
tow hitch receiver and rear window defroster with wiper. Less than
1,000 miles since the restoration.
