1972 Plymouth Barracuda Restomod
This car was born as a Barracuda with a 318 engine, a perfect car to restomod. It appears that this Barracuda lived a pretty good life considering that much of the interior appears as original and the sheet metal is in great condition.
The transplant of the late model 6.1L Hemi also appears to have been done well, with approximately 8,000 miles on the engine at the time of the build. The Hemi is paired with a Heavy Duty 727 Automatic transmission, which was chosen because it can handle the horsepower of the engine and matches up with the original 3-speed shifter.
The brakes make you feel like you could stop on a dime if you needed to!
The aftermarket stereo sounds great and the A/C/Heat system was installed well and works just as it should.
The trunk is still unfinished, which can make the ride a bit noisy.
