This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 tribute has a modern shine and a
five-speed, but everything from the texture of the seats to the
growl of the V8 gives the impression of a vintage pony car. So it's

Under the hood is exactly what you want to see: a clean and mean
powerhouse. This is a 351 cubic-inch Windsor V8 with a mild bore
and stroke kit. It has go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake, and wrapped
headers feeding an X-pipe dual exhaust. You'll also spot good
supporting components like an aluminum radiator, electric fan,
Summit electronic ignition, MSD coil, and an Optima battery. It
warms up to be a strong powerhouse, and you get to utilize it to
the fullest thanks to a five-speed manual transmission upgrade. Add
in power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern sport
tires, and you have a terrific total package.
