Vehicle Description
Finished in the original color of Lynndale Blue with a black
Stinger and a black leather interior, this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette
Sting Ray underwent a frame-on restoration in 2008 that included
New Old Stock (NOS), original and correctly dated parts. It is
powered by a matching-numbers 427ci V8 engine with a single Holley
#3815 4-barrel engine mated to a Muncie M21 4-speed manual
transmission and a 3.36 posi-traction rear axle. This Corvette is
equipped with a factory side-mount exhaust system, 4-wheel disc
brakes, dual master cylinder and power windows. This Air Injection
Reactor West Coast car was documented by the NCRS to be delivered
to California in December 1966. Additional features include power
windows, all-window Soft Ray tinted glass, dual door mirrors, and
factory-style AM/FM push-button radio and clock. It rides on cast
aluminum wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich T/A red line radial tires.
The year 1967 was the last for Chevrolet's first-generation Sting
Ray, and Car and Driver voted it the Best All-Around Car for the
model year.
