This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Tribute is a head-turner from the era
of long and sleek pony cars. But more than just the design,
everything from the bright red paint to the V8 power makes this one
irresistible.
There have been solid investments in this pony car to create a Mach
1. It starts with the paint. Bright, vibrant, and clean, this is
instantly attractive. Adding to the shine is the glowing brightwork
you see everywhere from the wraparound chrome bumpers to the trim.
But not just the radiant look that will catch your eye. It also has
a well-coordinated black that gives it some upgraded Mach 1 sporty
style. This includes the deep front air dam, full-length hockey
stick stripe, rocker stripe, full-width rear spoiler, and louvered
rear window. Plus, we all love the look of the blackout hood with
ram air style NACA scoops. And those 15-inch mag-style wheels with
a larger rear set and spinners help bring the coupe's shining
attitude and sporty style together.
The full black interior gives you more of that attractive style
against the exterior's red. The fundamentals like upholstery, door
panels, and dash have a dark and quality appearance. Even the dome
light works. While this is a performance machine, it also was built
for comfort. You have classic premium features, like the high back
bucket seats, armrest center console, and plenty of wood-like trim.
And they even installed a retro-style AM/FM modern digital tuner
with Pioneer speakers for upgraded driving music. Plus the
three-spoke steering wheel gives you a nice view to the sporty
gauge package with a large tach. And the classic-style VDO gauges
cleanly mounted in the center stack give you updates on what's
happening in the engine bay.
Under the hood is a 302 cubic inch V8. It looks great with the
proper blue block, matching air grabber, and overall clean style.
The gasket around the air grabber lets you know the V8 inhales
fresh oxygen as it feeds the Holley four-barrel carburetor. And
you're going to love the sound and power that comes from the
headers that feed the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. It
warms up to be a stout powerhouse, and elements like the aluminum
radiator help keep this hardy V8 running strong. And usability is
what you want because this one feels great on the road with a
three-speed automatic, power steering, power brake, front discs,
and wide BF Goodrich T/As at all four corners.
The sale comes with terrific paperwork, including a reproduction
window sticker, dealer invoice, bill of sale, build receipts,
owner's manual, service manuals, and Marti Report. This coupe has a
great look and features you want in a head-turning power pony. So
don't let this distinct Mustang slip through your fingers. Call
