Vehicle Description
This Southern California original 1961 Volkswagen 23-window bus has
been upgraded with a 1,600cc engine mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission and a 12-volt system. Everything was restored and/or
replaced to like-new condition with many New Old Stock (NOS) parts.
It features seating for nine people, a factory sliding sunroof,
custom luggage/surf rack and jail bars on the rear windows. Deluxe
features include a chrome ashtray, original Sapphire push-button AM
radio knobs, mud flaps, coat hooks, grab rails, polished deco trim
and a chrome front VW emblem. The bus has been maintained since
restoration and driven regularly. Owned by actor Will Ferrell.
