Vehicle Description
This 1946 Indian Chief motorcycle was purchased in 2017 by a
gentleman from South Dakota who has been restoring vintage Indian
motorcycles for many years. This machine has undergone a complete
nut-and-bolt restoration that was completed in 2018. A lot of time
and money was spent restoring it to a high level of quality, with
every single piece restored or replaced. It is powered by the
rebuilt original matching-numbers 1210cc 2-cylinder engine mated to
a 3-speed manual transmission. This skirted Chief is painted the
correct color of Seafoam Blue, which shows well, having been
properly prepped.
