Vehicle Description
1997 Ferrari F355 Spider. One of the most iconic sports cars of the
1990s, the F355 was introduced in 1994 as the replacement for the
Ferrari 348, with a focus on reliability, aerodynamics, and the
incorporation of Formula One technology. In 1995, the Spider
convertible variant was released as the first Ferrari with a power
semi-automatic soft top. This 1997 example is finished in Rosso
Corsa over a custom red and black diamond-stitched leather interior
and was specified with a 6-speed gated manual transmission mated to
the 3.5L V8 with a 5-valve cylinder head and dry sump lubrication,
producing 375 HP. It has been modified with Nitron coilovers, a
Tubi exhaust, aftermarket wheels, and a touchscreen media head
unit. Said to have been previously owned by an avid collector and
enthusiast, it has recently received a full engine out service
which included new belts, seals, gaskets, spark plugs, brakes, and
tires in the last 500 miles. Showing just over 39k miles on the
odometer. The exterior is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) with a
black power-operated convertible top and a red diamond-stitched
tonneau cover. Details include Scuderia Ferrari enamel fender
shields, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, an integrated
rear spoiler, a vented engine cover, side air scoops, black brake
calipers with white Ferrari script, Pininfarina rocker panel
badges, and quad exhaust finishers. Detailed images are provided in
the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The bronze-finished
aftermarket multi-piece wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot
Super Sport tires displaying 2017 date codes. The interior has been
reupholstered with black and red diamond-stitched leather, with a
red upper dash, door panels, seats, and steering wheel, contrasted
by a black lower dash, rear bulkhead, grab handles, and seat
inserts with red diamond-stitched contrast embroidery. Amenities
include carbon fiber trim on the center console, a carbon fiber
shift knob, carbon fiber door sill guards.
