Vehicle Description
This custom 1974 Ford Bronco had a full frame-off complete
nut-and-bolt restoration. It is powered by a new Ford Performance
Gen 3 5.0-liter Coyote engine with BC Broncos front-runner pulley
setup and custom headers. This Bronco is equipped with an Xtreme
6R80W 6-speed automatic transmission with a U.S. shift controller.
It has powder-coated frame and axles with new gears and
posi-traction unit in the 9-inch rear end, as well as new gears in
the Dana 44 front end. There are Hydra-Boost power disc brakes at
all four corners. The body was chemical-dipped and then prepped
with all PPG primers and topcoats, including DCC single-stage
paint. The original hardtop was chemical-dipped, then additional
bows were added for rigidity, as well as the same PPG primers and
DCC topcoat. All new hardware was installed in the lift gate. All
glass was replaced, including all new vent window assemblies. There
is new hardware for the doors, as well as new lock cylinders and
latches. The interior features a new Ididit tilt steering column, a
new factory-style steering wheel with a new horn button, a Dakota
Digital RTX gauge cluster and a Vintage Air system. The factory
seat frames were blasted to bare metal and then powder-coated and
re-covered with factory-style Parchment covers. An all-new interior
door and quarter panels were installed, as well as a custom-made
suede headliner and a custom-fitted and installed Euro Mocha
carpet. This is a truly no-expense-spared restoration.
